It's a summertime right of passage located at the end of a long gravel road 5-miles outside of Mykonos town along a pristine strip of sand known simply as 'Super Paradise.' Early in the day much of the action stays close to the waterfront, divided between a main beach popular with the under-30 party set and a gay 'clothing optional' section located at the far end. Loungers are available for rental as well as thatch umbrellas further down the sand with crystal clear water that manages to stay clean despite the June through August party season. By late afternoon the DJ cranks "up the sound system that roars tracks by Swedish House Mafia and Kelis as the beach bar slowly fills with a full-on dance scene complete with amateur go-go dancing and plunge pool only used by the truly inebriated. Befitting its name, no party scene comes closer to paradise than this Mykonos legend.
Tips
Parking can be a nightmare during August, so arrive early to avoid parking on the hillside. Scooter driver will want to be vigilant about traveling on one of the most accident-prone roads that lead to the beach club.
